Rob Whittenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rob began their career as a student at SWOSU from 1974 to 1977. Following that, they served in the USAF as a Lieutenant Colonel for over two decades, from 1977 to 1999. After retiring from the military, they joined General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Program Manager from 2000 to 2007. Following that, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate from 2007 to 2010, where they developed advanced malware discovery methodology and implemented concepts for Deep Packet Inspection applications for network defense. Since 2010, they have been working at Lookingglass Cyber Solutions, where they currently hold the position of Technical Task Lead and Service Engineer. In this role, they manage and executes technical research and development contracts, combining Deep Packet Inspection technology with other network analysis packages to produce network defense solutions. Rob holds a current TS/SCI Clearance. Overall, Rob Whittenberg has demonstrated expertise in technical research and development, network defense, and program management throughout their career.
Rob Whittenberg completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics and Computer Science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 1974 to 1977. Rob then pursued an M.S. degree in Operations Management from Arkansas State University between 1985 and 1986.
