Alemdar I.

Alemdar I. has a strong background in the field of cybersecurity. Alemdar started their career as a Software Developer at Veripark in October 2011. Alemdar then transitioned to a role as a Cyber Security Researcher at TUBITAK in March 2012, where they analyzed malwares, provided training, and developed proof-of-concept code. In October 2017, Alemdar joined Sophos as a Threat Researcher, responsible for creating static detection signatures, analyzing malware samples, and creating disinfectors. Alemdar recently joined Lookout in June 2021 as a Threat Intelligence Researcher.

Alemdar I pursued their education beginning in 2005 at Bogazici University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2011. After a brief hiatus, they resumed their studies in 2013 at Istanbul Sehir University, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security Engineering in 2015.
