Bryan Solan

Bryan Solan has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Bryan is currently working at Lookout as a Sr Staff Software Engineer since February 2022, and previously held the role of Staff Software Engineer from December 2020 to April 2022.

Prior to their current role, Bryan worked at Aspect Software from 2017 to 2020. Bryan started as a Senior Principal Engineer in August 2017 and transitioned to the role of Sr. Principal Platform Operations Engineer from April 2019 to April 2020. During this time, they researched, implemented, and deployed multi-cloud PAAS database solutions, customized and contributed changes to internal systems, and managed resources to Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.

In 2020, Bryan joined the Organizing Committee of DevOpsDays Galway for a brief period, contributing to the planning and management of the event.

Before that, they worked at Avaya from 2011 to 2017, where they held positions as Software Engineer III and Software Engineer II. Bryan was responsible for developing and architecting various solutions, including the Oceana Omnichannel Contact Centre Solution and Avaya Streaming and Recording. Bryan also worked on the Next Gen Streaming and Recording project, implementing a ground-up re-architecture using Avaya Media Server and collaborating on overall design and architecture proposals.

Bryan began their career at Storm Technology as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2003 before moving on to Duolog Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead from 2005 to 2010.
