Staff Security Engineer at Lookout

Eugene Kolodenker began their work experience in 2010 as a Student Client Support Specialist at the Boston University IT Help Center, where they provided technical support to the university community. In 2011, they had a Technical Intern role at P&E Microcomputer Systems, where they developed software for programming and debugging microprocessors. Also in 2011, they served as a Teaching Assistant at the Boston University College of Engineering, where they led discussions, supervised lab sections, and contributed to course material development.

In 2012, Kolodenker joined AMD as a Design Engineer and was responsible for overseeing project design verification, maintaining test regressions, and developing verification tests and tools. Eugene then joined MITRE in 2014 as a Cyber Security Engineer, where they supported government customers in researching and developing cyber security application solutions. Eugene also developed bespoke tools for analyzing complex systems and created scalable analysis tools for evolving threats. In 2016, they were promoted to Senior Cyber Security Engineer at MITRE, continuing to contribute to the development of cyber security solutions until 2020.

Most recently, in 2020, Kolodenker joined Lookout as a Staff Security Engineer, where they apply their expertise in security to enhance the company's offerings.

Eugene Kolodenker pursued their education in the field of engineering, specializing in both electrical engineering and computer engineering. From 2009 to 2012, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. Subsequently, they furthered their studies at the same institution and earned their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from 2015 to 2017.
