Ashish Chugh

Ashish Chugh is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in emerging markets. Since 2018, Ashish has served as Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Emerging Market Equities at Loomis, Sayles & Company, overseeing long/only funds and hedge funds while managing a team of senior equity research analysts. Additionally, Ashish is a Board Member at the Center for Emerging Markets at Northeastern University, contributing to research on emerging economies. Previous roles include Managing Director positions at Och-Ziff Capital Management and Wellington Management, focusing on long/short and long/only emerging market equities, and an associate role at Blue Chip Venture Company in venture capital and private equity. Early in the career, Ashish held technical positions at IBM and Hitachi. Ashish holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
