Pieter de Beer

Pieter de Beer is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in systems management and security, currently serving as the Group Head of IT Security at Loomis since May 2011. Pieter has held multiple roles at Loomis, including Head of IT and Information Systems Manager, where responsibilities include providing comprehensive systems support for high-priority operational systems and coordinating with offshore development teams. Prior to Loomis, Pieter worked at Unipart from October 2009 to May 2011 as Assistant Head of IT/IS and BI Developer, focusing on data reporting and automation. Pieter's career in technology began at Multi Channel Software Solutions from February 2000 to September 2009, where skills in project management, business solution development, and integration with third-party suppliers were honed. Pieter holds an Honours degree in Computer Science and Accountancy from the University of North West, South Africa.
