Erik Muzzey possesses extensive experience in outdoor safety and management, currently serving as a Backcountry Wilderness Ranger with the U.S. Forest Service since May 2023, focusing on environmental education and public outreach in the White Mountain National Forest. Concurrently, Erik works as a Ski Patrol member at Loon Mountain Resort, ensuring safety for skiers and snowboarders. Previous roles include a Backcountry Park Ranger with the National Park Service, where Erik provided assistance on trails and was trained in technical rescue and emergency medical services. Erik's career began in security management with Allied Universal and AlliedBarton Security Services, where responsibilities included senior project management and operational oversight for Boston Properties, Inc. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
