Sundar Annamalai

Sundar Annamalai is a seasoned technology professional with significant experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently, Sundar serves as Co-Founder of Loop, a Delivery Intelligence Platform, since July 2022, where efforts are focused on building Loop AI. Previously, Sundar worked as a Staff ML Engineer at ShareChat, leading machine learning initiatives for feed ranking on India's largest short video platform, Moj, and achieving notable improvements in user retention and engagement. Prior to this, Sundar held various engineering roles at Uber, where contributions included traffic forecasting and a patented approach to map data anomaly detection. Sundar's early career includes internships at Google, focusing on features for Google Home, and at HyperVerge Inc., working on image classification. Sundar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 2017.
