Sophie Nguyen

Sophie Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning various scientific roles and organizations. Sophie is currently employed at Loop Industries as the Lead Scientist for feedstock characterization, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Development Scientist at Loop Industries from May 2020 to May 2022. Sophie also served as a Research Scientist at Loop Industries from June 2016 to April 2020, with a concurrent role as the Head of Chemistry from September 2016 to September 2017.

Before joining Loop Industries, Sophie worked at the National Research Council as a Research Officer from November 2009 to November 2015. Sophie also gained industry experience as a Research Scientist at ADM from November 2008 to November 2009, and at BioSyntech from January 2007 to August 2008.

Sophie began their career as a Post-doctoral fellow at Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, where they worked from December 2004 to December 2006.
