Maksym Prokofiev

Maksym Prokofiev is a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with extensive experience in leading QA efforts and developing automated testing frameworks. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at LoopMe since July 2025, Maksym previously held similar roles at Branchspace and InData Labs, focusing on automation using Playwright and Cypress frameworks. With a strong background at EPAM Systems as a Lead QA Engineer for major client projects in the hospitality and travel sectors, Maksym's expertise spans E-Commerce and Affiliate Marketing, as well as software development for the Finance domain. An earlier career as a Navigation Officer onboard tankers provided valuable leadership and risk management skills. Maksym holds a Bachelor's degree in Navigation from Kherson State Maritime Academy.
