Saba Dasadawala

Saba Dasadawala has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. They started their career in 2014 as a Jr. Android Application Developer at the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, IIM Ahmedabad. In this role, they implemented a location-aware chat client and conducted research on non-intrusive processing within the Android application.

In 2013, they worked part-time as a Student IT Technician at the Illinois Institute of Technology, providing support for hardware and software issues and maintaining department websites. They also worked as a Part-Time Student Prospect Research Assistant, updating and managing alumni databases and writing biographies for alumni event attendees.

From 2016 to 2021, Saba joined Cerner Corporation as an Associate Senior Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer. They worked on various technology stacks including Java, JUnit, CCL, SQL, and JavaScript. Their responsibilities included resolving code defects, developing new functionality for patient claims and insurance transactions, and mentoring new associates.

Currently, Saba is working at Loop, initially joining as a Software Engineer and later becoming a Tech Lead. They are responsible for growing and scaling Loop's software while also managing the engineering team and leading the development of merchant experience and point of sale systems.

Saba Dasadawala completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from L.J. Institute Of Engineering and Technology, attending from 2009 to 2013. Saba then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology, where they attended from 2013 to 2015.
