Bart Jooris is an experienced technology leader and engineer, currently serving as Founder and Head of Product Engineering at Lopos since April 2020. Prior to this, Bart held the position of Founder and CTO at IDLab from 2004 to April 2020, where responsibilities included leading European and national projects focused on "Internet on the Train," establishing the first wireless testbed at Ghent University, and managing the wireless segment of the IBBT Technical Test Centre until 2015. Earlier in Bart's career, roles included Engineer at Inetum-Realdolmen from 2002 to 2004. Bart Jooris holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Ghent University and qualifications from Cisco Networking Academy, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende.
