João Magalhães

João Magalhães has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Growth Manager at VC Innovations since 2023. Previously, from 2021 to 2023, they served as a Business Developer at LOQR SA, where they achieved exponential growth in qualified leads and clients within the banking sector.

From 2018 to 2021, João worked as the CEO of Aurora Digital Health, leading the company's vision and coordinating various activities in web design, development, customer success, and digital marketing.

Before that, they held the position of Head of Marketing Business Development at OncoStats from 2017 to 2018, focusing on empowering the healthcare industry and establishing partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.

João's work experience also includes being a Co-Founder and Business Developer at NORMA - Nova Arquitectura em Madeira from 2014 to 2016, where they managed sales and customer support for an architecture and construction company.

Earlier in their career, João gained experience in the hospitality industry as a Hotel Associate at the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane in 2013. João also worked in client and press relations at Boca do Lobo, Menina Design, where they introduced the luxury brand to new markets and managed customer relationships.

In 2012, João was a team member at This is So Contemporary, a startup specializing in online platforms for contemporary art, where they were responsible for social media management and international marketing strategies.

João Magalhães attended Católica Porto Business School from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their graduation in Business. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Marketing at Católica Porto Business School from 2011 to 2013.
