Kelly Berick

Kelly Berick is an experienced dance educator and coordinator currently serving as the Chair of the district-wide Dance Department and Dance Teacher at Frank Jacinto and Washington Elementary Schools within Lorain City Schools since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kelly directed the Dance Department at Akron School for the Arts at Firestone High School from 1996 to August 2022, leading the dance program in an urban public high school setting. Kelly's early experience includes being a dancer and K-12 artist in residence with Wrenn Cook and Friends DANCE from 1989 to 1993. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Dance from Temple University, CTE Licensure in Dance from Kent State University, and an Ohio K-12 Certification in Dance from the University of Akron, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College (SC).
