Denise M. Douglas

Denise M. Douglas serves as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Success at Lorain County Community College since July 2018, where responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic direction to enhance academic programs and student success initiatives. Prior to this role, Denise held multiple positions at Case Western Reserve University, including Dean of Social Sciences and Human Services, Associate Dean of Executive Education, and Executive Coach specializing in leadership development across various sectors. Denise also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor and a strong background in career planning and student life from previous roles at Case Western Reserve University and Georgetown University. Educational credentials include a BA in English from George Mason University, a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy & Administration from the University of Minnesota.
