Richard Bosley

Richard Bosley serves as Major at the Lorain County Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities include directing the Lorain County Drug Task Force. Previous roles include Captain at the same office, overseeing the Law Enforcement Division and serving as Public Information Officer. Richard's extensive experience in law enforcement spans roles as Chief of Police for the City of Avon, a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, and various positions including Patrol Officer and Detective at the Elyria Police Department. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Criminal Justice Administration from Northcentral University and an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Lorain County Community College. Additional education includes training at the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University.
