Katie Nix

Katie Nix is an experienced content marketing strategist currently managing social media for the Lorain Public Library System since September 2018, where responsibilities also include composing press releases and blog posts. Since February 2016, Katie has served as the Social Media and Web Director at Mickey and Mandy, overseeing an online platform for Disney-inspired products and managing a large social media following. Previous roles include Lorain Reporter for The Chronicle-Telegram, Public Safety Reporter at The Herald-Sun, and various reporting and editorial positions at The Kent Stater, where Katie gained significant experience in news coverage, editorial management, and multimedia integration. Katie holds a Master's Degree in Media Management and a Bachelor's Degree in News and Political Science from Kent State University.
