Hamid Faran has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Hamid started their career as a Senior Accountant at Prentice Yates & Clark in 2002. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Ernst & Young, where they held the role of Manager in Assurance & Advisory Business Services. During this time, they delivered audit, advisory, forensic, and fraud investigations services. Hamid also managed major engagements with Fortune 25 companies and identified accounting irregularities. Hamid Faran obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the Schulich School of Business at York University from 1998 to 2002. Hamid later received additional certifications including Certified Public Accountant (obtained in December 2008) from the AICPA, CPA, CA (obtained in May 2005) from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada), and ACA (no specified obtained month or year) from ICAEW.
