Matthew Jones

Matthew Jones, CFA, serves as the Head of Equity Trading at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC since May 2017, overseeing equities, convertibles, and equity derivatives. Previously, Matthew was the Head of US Equity Trading and Trader, focusing on convertible securities and equity trading. From 2011 to 2017, Matthew worked at AllianceBernstein as the Syndicate Lead & Equity Trader, managing equity syndication and derivatives trading while conducting convertible security research and covering the consumer sector. At Barclays Capital (2008-2011), Matthew specialized in convertible securities trading, generating trading ideas and enhancing client pitches for convertible bonds and preferred securities. Matthew's career began at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Analyst in Global Principal Strategies from 2005 to 2008. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers University, earned in 2005.
