Steve Kuppenheimer

Steve Kuppenheimer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private credit and capital markets. Currently, Steve serves as Partner, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Private Credit at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC since August 2023. Prior to this role, Steve spent eight years at Blackstone, where achievements included being a Senior Managing Director, Partner, Investment Committee Member of Blackstone Credit, and Global Head of Capital Formation. Earlier career highlights include senior leadership roles at Stifel Financial Corp. and Merrill Lynch, as well as foundational experience at Credit Suisse and Brown & Wood LLP. Steve holds a BA with Honors in Philosophy from Colgate University and a JD with Distinction from Emory University School of Law.
