Alan Locke, AIA has a diverse work experience in the architecture field. Alan started as an Intern at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) in 2000 and 2002. Alan then worked as a Project Manager at Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects from an unknown start date until 2013. Following this, they became a Senior Designer at ZGF Architects LLP from May 2013 to June 2016. In 2016, they joined Lord Aeck Sargent as a Design Director. Alan also served as a Board Member at The Museum School of Avondale Estates from June 2017 to June 2021.

Alan Locke, AIA pursued their education in architecture beginning in 1997 at the University of Michigan. After completing their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in architecture in 2001, they furthered their studies at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. From 2001 to 2004, Alan Locke successfully obtained their Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from this prestigious institution, specializing in the field of architecture.
