Brandon Bowser is a Lead Senior Scientist at Parker Lord since July 2021, following a tenure as a Senior Scientist. Prior to this role, Brandon served as a Research Mentor for Undergraduate Students and a Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University from July 2016 to July 2021. As a Research Mentor, Brandon guided three undergraduate students in achieving research objectives while enhancing their professional development. In the Graduate Research Assistant position, Brandon conducted significant research on both monomer and polymer synthesis, focusing on mechano-responsive monomers for innovative polymer applications. Additionally, Brandon was a Graduate Teaching Assistant, leading a team in creating educational content for General Chemistry courses and adapting a summer research fellowship program to a virtual format amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Brandon holds a PhD in Chemistry (Polymers) from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics and Religion from Hope College.
