Jüri Sildam

Jüri Sildam has worked in various roles in the data science field since 1999. Jüri began their career as a Research Scientist at Satlantic Inc., where they worked with underwater optical data, satellite data processing, analysis, and physical and statistical modelling. From 2004 to 2009, they were a Defence Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada | Recherche et développement pour la défense Canada, where they worked on acoustical data processing, analysis, and physical and statistical modeling. In 2016, they became self-employed as a Data Scientist. From 2018 to 2020, they held the role of Senior Data Scientist at Pipedrive and Nabuminds. Currently, they are a Data Science Lead and Senior Data Scientist at Single.Earth.

Jüri Sildam has a Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Oceanography from the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology in Moscow, Russia. Jüri has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Getting started with TensorFlow 2" (2021), "Convolutional Neural Networks" (2021), "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization" (2021), "Sequence Models" (2021), "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" (2021), "Machine Learning" (2021), and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" (2021).
