Bernie Watts has a range of work experience spanning several years. They started their career at HMV Retail Ltd in 2004 as an Assistant Manager, where they worked until 2011. After that, they joined St Mary's Accounting Services as a Trainee Accounts Assistant for a short period from 2011 to 2012. Following this, they joined Lord's Taverners in 2012, where they held various roles including Accounts Assistant, Finance Manager, and currently, they are the Head of Finance.
Bernie Watts has pursued various educational qualifications throughout their career. They obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Bayes Business School. Furthermore, they completed the Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) from ICAEW and the Diploma in Charity Management from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Bernie also attended AAT, although the specific degree name is not mentioned. Additionally, they have gained knowledge in the field of wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Lastly, Bernie completed a course in Bookkeeping and Accounting from The Open University. Furthermore, they have attained membership with The Institute of Leadership in August 2023.
