Mike Hartwell has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mike started their career as a News Reporter at Trinity Mirror Southern in 1993 and later became the Sports Editor for the Ealing Gazette and West London Newspaper group. In 2000, they joined QPR FC as the Media Relations Manager. Hartwell then moved on to Saracens RFC as the Media and Communications Manager in 2003, where they were responsible for handling all internal and external communications for the club. Mike achieved notable accomplishments during their tenure, including managing media campaigns for stadium openings, coordinating publicity stunts, and launching a concussion research campaign. In 2015, they joined M2 Sports Management Ltd as a PR Consultant. Currently, Hartwell holds the position of Head of Marketing and Communications at Lord's Taverners, a role they have been in since 2016, and is set to become the Director of Marketing and Communications in October 2022.
