Jay’s focus in therapy is strengthening the client’s confidence in managing difficulties and increasing their ability to thrive. His experiential, person centered, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to therapy allow the client to develop and grow at their own pace. He has helped individuals and their families to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, attention deficit, and social phobia. Jay works primarily with children, adolescents, teenagers, and their families in identifying and improving problem areas that affect their well-being. He also has experience working with couple conflict and parenting struggles. Jay’s unique personality and sense of humor provide a welcoming and safe environment for therapy, and allows him to connect well with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Jay graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy.
