Yassine Toughrai

Yassine Toughrai is currently a PhD student at Loria, a position held since October 2023, after serving as a Research Assistant at the same institution from March to August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Intern in Natural Language Processing at TICLab@UIR, where Yassine Toughrai implemented unsupervised machine learning techniques for parallel corpus exploration and translation between North African dialects, along with manual text annotation from social media. Additionally, Yassine Toughrai interned at CBI in web development, focusing on the redevelopment of a reporting web application using HTML, Django, React, and SQL Server. Yassine Toughrai has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Artificial Intelligence from Université de Lorraine (2023-2026) and an engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Université Internationale de Rabat (2020-2023).
