Alhassan Khedr has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alhassan co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Lorica Cybersecurity, where they led multiple engineering teams in the development of the Lorica Platform. This platform utilized confidential computing, privacy enhancing technologies, and fully homomorphic encryption to enable encrypted search and machine learning on partners' data, as well as encrypted deep packet inspection on network traffic. Alhassan's leadership and expertise allowed the Lorica Platform to perform confidential queries on billions of records within milliseconds, surpassing competitors. Additionally, Alhassan served as the President of the Egyptian Students' Association at the University of Toronto, where they were responsible for budget proposals and event planning. Alhassan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at both Cairo University and the American University in Cairo, contributing to the academic community.
