Richard Mullen

Richard was appointed Engineering Manager of our Buildings and Civils department, following a successful 2 year period within Lorien’s Project Management team.

Richard has worked within civil and structural design offices since graduating with honours in Civil Engineering, from The University of Warwick in 2007. He has gone onto lead multi-discipline design teams involved in the construction and refurbishment of blast furnaces all over the globe, spending much of his early career in India and Taiwan, whilst simultaneously completing an MSc in Structural Engineering at Newcastle University.

Whilst at Lorien, Richard has led several CapEx building projects within the food sector, providing our clients with project management and technical building knowledge throughout the life cycle of the project.

As building design lead, Richard will manage the building design team within Lorien’s UK centre, operating in Europe and further afield.
