Claire Grandchamps is a web journalist with extensive experience in translation and education. Current work at L'Orient-Le Jour, since June 2017, complements freelance translation roles that began in April 2013, which include voluntary translations for UNOPS and PLAN Sweden, as well as a significant educational project with Kidproof MENA. Previously, Claire served as Project Coordinator in the International Affairs Office at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) from April 2015 to May 2017 and taught courses in linguistic interference and advanced essay writing at Lebanese Canadian University between October 2013 and January 2015. Claire holds a Master's degree in Translation from Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik and a Master's degree in Near Eastern Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Université catholique de Louvain.
