Rita Sassine

Rita Sassine has worked at L'Orient-Le Jour since 2007, starting as a Head of Web team- web journalist. Rita then transitioned to the role of Editor in September 2019 and currently holds the position of Head of Department as of November 2021. Prior to their time at L'Orient-Le Jour, they worked as a Freelance Journalist at Dar Assayad group Publications from July 2004 to July 2006.

Rita Sassine attended Saint Joseph University of Beirut from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Rita later pursued further education at the same university from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Master's degree in Information and Communication. Their field of study for the Master's degree was Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
