Jessica Benjamin

Jessica Benjamin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jessica started their career as an Analyst and Associate in Business in Development at Genesis Analytics from 2010 to 2012. Jessica then worked as a Capstone Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, focusing on supply chain management for HIV/AIDS drugs in Sub-Saharan Africa. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Manager of Strategic Projects at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG).

In 2016, Jessica Benjamin became an Independent Consultant before joining Applied Value Group as their Manager and Head of Social Impact in 2017. At Applied Value Group, they drove cost and capital efficiency programs for various clients including Fortune 500s, PE firms, and mid-size corporations.

In 2020, Jessica Benjamin held the position of Head of the Sustainability Group at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge Trust, LLC where they integrated environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research into investment strategies and engaged corporations and policymakers to improve sustainability practices. Jessica also became the President of the Board of Directors at South Africa Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to partnerships between the United States and South Africa in the areas of health, education, and economic development.

Jessica Benjamin's education history includes a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University. Jessica also holds a B.Soc Sci (Honours) degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, they obtained a B.Soc Sci degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the same university. Jessica Benjamin has one additional certification, a Certificate in ESG Investing, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in September 2022.
