Michael Gear, CFA, has over two decades of experience in investment management and accounting. Currently serving as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge since July 2004, Michael evaluates and recommends equity investment actions for approximately 1,000 accounts while providing research support to 11 trustees. Prior to this role, Michael worked at JPMorgan Chase from August 1998 to July 2004, initially as a Fund Accountant, where responsibilities included calculating daily NAVs and processing trades, and later as a Sr. Fund Accountant, overseeing the accuracy of fund accountant outputs and liaising with clients. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University, earned in 1998.
