Shams Ur Rehman

Shams Ur Rehman is an experienced operations service manager currently at Lorneville since May 2023, previously serving as project controls director for APTIM from July 2017 to February 2023. Shams held various roles at APTIM, where responsibilities included leading project controls functions, facilitating monthly project review meetings, and working with corporate finance executives. Earlier experience at CB&I encompassed managing project controls activities for plant services across Canada and the USA, implementing cost control systems, and overseeing major repair projects in the oil sands sector. Shams began a career at Clariant as a manager of utilities and site engineer, with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, holding a master’s degree from Concordia University and a bachelor’s degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
