John X. Zhang

John X. Zhang, Ph.D., currently serves as the CEO of Lorom Cable & System Design, overseeing its parent company, Lisconn, and leading a multi-industrial design and manufacturing organization with extensive global operations. Zhang’s previous leadership roles include CEO of Laird Performance Materials, which was acquired by DuPont, and President and Managing Director for Asia and Greater China at Ammeraal Beltech, now part of AMMEGA Group. Zhang has also held significant positions at FCI, Ingersoll Rand, 3M, and Tyco Electronics, alongside an academic role as a tenure-track assistant professor at Penn State University's Business School. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Strategy & Operations Control and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
