Claire Brazeau

Claire Brazeau currently serves as Principal Oboe for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra since 2014. Additionally, Claire holds the position of Faculty for the 2nd Oboe and English horn at California State University-Long Beach since September 2017. As an independent music professional in New York and Los Angeles since August 2006, Claire specializes in oboe and English horn. From September 2011 to August 2012, Claire was a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome, where programming and performance of music from the Baroque to contemporary genres occurred. Claire's education includes an Artist Diploma in Oboe Performance from The Colburn School (2010-2014) and dual Bachelor's degrees in Oboe Performance and Asian Studies with Piano Performance from Bard College (2005-2010).
