Maia Jasper White

Maia Jasper White is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in various roles within the field of music. As Executive Director and Co-Artistic Director at Salastina since January 2010, and Director of Chamber Music at Caltech since September 2016, Maia has made significant contributions to music education and performance. A seasoned violinist with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and former member of the Pacific Symphony, Maia has also served as a studio musician, contributing to scores by renowned composers such as John Williams and Danny Elfman. Additionally, Maia has held teaching positions at prestigious institutions including the Colburn School and Chapman University, alongside freelance writing for String Letter Publishing. Maia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and English Literature from Yale University and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Southern California.
