Ferralyn Sneed

Division Manager, Retirement Services Division at Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System

Ferralyn Sneed is the Chief Benefits Analyst for the Retirement Services Division overseeing Service Retirement, Disability Retirement, Legal Processing, Benefits Determination, Survivor Benefits, and Research and Performance services groups. Since coming to LACERS in 2006, she has served as the project leader for several major projects, including, the City’s Early Retirement Incentive Program (ERIP), Enhanced Benefits for Airport Police Officers, and most recently, the Airport, City and Harbor Separation Incentive Programs.

Prior to coming to LACERS, her diverse career ranged from working as a budget analyst in the City Administrator’s Office, to doing financing analysis on single and multi-family housing developments and monitoring small business economic development projects receiving Federal funds.

Ms. Sneed received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from UCLA and has been a featured speaker at the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS).
