Amy Shekarchi has extensive experience in the healthcare field, with a focus on pediatrics. Amy has held various roles at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, including Interim Director of Pediatrics at High Desert Health Group, Pediatric Primary Care Director at Olive View-UCLA, Resident Continuity Clinic Director at Olive View-UCLA, and Interim Director of the Strong, Healthy and Resilient Kids (SHARK) Program. Amy has also worked as the Clinical and Academic Programs Director at UCAAN and as Co-Director of ACEs-LA, a program aimed at building community resilience through ACEs screening and treatment. In 2016, they obtained a Pediatric Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Amy furthered their education by completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Administration, with a focus on Maternal and Child Health, from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health from 2018 to 2020.
