Joshua R. Parsons

Joshua R. Parsons, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Joshua R. started their career as an Assistant Manager in the Consumer Services Department at Uncle Milton Industries, where they restructured the department and converted the ordering system to e-commerce. Joshua R. then worked as a Product Development and Purchasing Assistant at APA Industries, where they regulated a web database and led research initiatives for new product development. Following that, they worked as a Planning Assistant at Tisser & Standing, LLP, handling client financial data and training new staff. In 2018, they interned as a Data Analyst in Clinical Informatics at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where they analyzed and summarized large data exports. Joshua R. later served as a Health Policy Intern, co-authoring proposals, reports, and conducting policy analysis. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Fundraising Coordinator at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, overseeing strategic fundraising activities and obtaining financial support. Currently, they are employed as the Data Management and IT Lead at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, where they have been involved in planning and implementing initiatives to address toxic stress and adverse childhood experiences, while also providing technical assistance and building a project management platform.

Joshua R. Parsons, MPH earned their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at California State University, Northridge from 2016 to 2018. Joshua R. also studied Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Los Angeles Valley College from 2012 to 2016. In 2000 to 2001, Joshua attended Aurora University, where they studied Anthropology.
