Lorenzo Gonzalez is a Street Medicine Physician for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services since April 2023 and serves on the Advisory Board of Climate Resolve and the Board of Directors for Latino Health Access. In addition, Lorenzo holds the position of National President for the Committee of Interns and Residents/SEIU Healthcare since July 2020. Lorenzo previously contributed as the Medical Justice In Advocacy Fellow at the Satcher Health Leadership Institute | American Medical Association from July 2021 to March 2023, focusing on advocacy for health equity. Lorenzo completed residency training as Chief Resident at Harbor-UCLA Department of Family Medicine, following a medical degree from UC San Diego. Academic credentials also include a Master's in Planning from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Chapman University.
