Maura Oconnor

Maura OConnor is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in real estate law and land use strategy. Currently serving as Managing Partner at O'Connor Cochran LLP since April 2011, Maura OConnor has directed the firm's focus on real estate, workout, finance, and business investment transactions, alongside CEQA and land use litigation across Southern California and the West Coast. In addition to this role, Maura OConnor has been an active member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and a former Board Chairman at the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation since 1999. Prior experience includes partnership roles at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and McKenna Long Aldridge, where Maura OConnor played pivotal roles in expanding real estate practices. Maura OConnor holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, a B.A. in English from Carleton College, and has studied acting at New York University.
