Spreti J. Valente

Spreti J. Valente is a highly experienced freelance consultant specializing in wine marketing materials, currently operating through Spreti Valente since January 2016. Valente serves as the Chairwoman of the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition and is the first woman and Latina to lead this prestigious event. Additionally, Valente holds the position of Chief Wine Judge at the Pacific Rim International Wine Competition and has been a professional wine judge for various competitions across the US, France, and the UK since May 2012. Valente's expertise also extends to serving as a sommelier at the Pigs & Pinot Wine Festival since March 2014 and previously held roles as a Senior Wine Buyer at Anne's Boutique Wines and as a Wine Buyer & Store Manager at WineStyles. Education credentials include certifications from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Sake School of America, as well as multiple degrees from Orange Coast College focused on International Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.
