The Lifeguard Team at the Los Angeles County Fire Department is responsible for ensuring public safety along the county's beaches and coastal areas. They perform water rescues, provide first aid, and offer educational programs such as Junior Lifeguard training. Additionally, they support the department's broader public safety mission by collaborating in emergency response efforts locally and globally.
