Amy Gusick

Amy Gusick is a Curator of Anthropology and NAGPRA Officer at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County since January 2018. Prior to this role, Amy served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the MA Program in Applied Archaeology at California State University-San Bernardino from September 2015 to December 2017. From December 2012 to September 2015, Amy worked as a Program Manager for Cultural Resources at HDR, overseeing project development and implementation for compliance with federal regulations, managing contracts exceeding five million dollars. Earlier experience includes teaching at UC Santa Barbara and serving as an Archaeological Technician with the National Park Service, alongside managing archaeological site information at the Central Coast Information Center. Amy holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Archaeology from UC Santa Barbara and a BA in Communications from Seton Hall University.
