Richard Bott

Richard Bott is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in video editing, digital media, and sound arts. Currently serving as a Media & Lighting Technician at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and a Studio Arts Digital Studio Technician at Pepperdine University, Richard Bott has also been a freelance video editor since 1996, collaborating with Jim Fetterley to create impactful media art across various platforms. Previous roles include Audio Video Technician at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Adjunct Professor of Art at the University of Southern California, and Time-Based Media Gallery Technician at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Richard Bott holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
