Jeremy Martinez

Jeremy Martinez, MD has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and addiction. Jeremy served as the Associate Medical Director at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at the Matrix Institute on Addictions from 2014 to 2018. Jeremy also worked as an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow at UCLA Health from 2010 to 2011, and served as the Chief Resident at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Program from 2006 to 2010.

Jeremy Martinez, MD has a strong educational background in the field of medicine. Jeremy obtained their M.D. degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where they earned an A.B. degree in Biology from 1996 to 2000. Their secondary education was accomplished at Rosemead High School, where they graduated with a high school diploma from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Martinez has obtained multiple certifications, including being Board Certified in Addiction Medicine and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. respectively. Jeremy is also Board Certified in Psychiatry by the same institution. Dr. Martinez has pursued further education in preventing workplace harassment with Emtrain.
