Karmena’s background also includes leadership in business and legal affairs at L&L Management, as well as various legal internships focused on education, civil rights, and homelessness. Karmena holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master's Degree in Urban Education Policy from Trinity Washington University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Spelman College.
