Senior Quantitative Analyst at Los Angeles Dodgers

Brendan Cooley is a seasoned professional with a strong background in quantitative analysis and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Analyst for the Los Angeles Dodgers since August 2024, Brendan previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Big League Advantage from September 2020 to August 2024. Initial experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Research Intern at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments between 2013 and 2015, along with an internship in National Security Analysis at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from May 2012 to May 2013, and an internship at the US-China Economic & Security Review Commission in 2011. Brendan earned a PhD in Politics with a focus on International Relations from Princeton University (2015-2020) and holds a BA in Political Science and Peace, War, & Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2010-2014). Additional educational background includes studies at the Beijing Institute of Education and completion of secondary education at Severna Park High School (2007-2010).
