Sam Fleischer

Samuel Fleischer is a Senior Quantitative Analyst with the Los Angeles Dodgers since January 2023, following experience as a Systems Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from August 2020 to January 2023. Previously, Samuel worked as an Analytics Consultant for the Tampa Bay Rays and served as a Teaching Assistant Consultant at the Center for Educational Effectiveness, UC Davis, where responsibilities included conducting consultations and designing workshops. A Ph.D. holder in Applied Mathematics from UC Davis, Samuel has a strong foundational background in mathematics, including a BS from California State University, Northridge, and an AS from College of the Canyons. Early career experiences include private mathematics tutoring and internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where software and systems were developed and improved.
